Profile

Panoramic photography, using medium and large format lens, is perfect for capturing on film, the wide vistas, the colours and the intricate textures of our Australian landscape.

The digital camera phenomenon may one day catch up with the old technology of lens and roll film in a box. Hopefully if it does it will replicate the quality of photograph with, movement of water and warmth of colour while still retaining the challenge of using a 6X17 camera.

David Bailey from David Bailey Panoramic Photography - AustraliaHaving been lucky enough to travel around and ski in some of the worlds most scenic areas provided me with the opportunity to supply photos to the ski and tourism industry. This experience with 35mm film together with my love of medium format photography and a desire to see and photograph more of Australia's wild and natural landscapes, through my perspective, has led me to start this website and offer my photographs for sale.
